University Corse was established in 1765 in Corte. It is located in the center of the beautiful Island of Corsica in the Mediterranean Sea. The university has Campuses at Caraman, Citadel and Grossetti.
The University has three Research faculties on which the University offers 90 National diplomas.
The Faculties are:
- Faculty of Letters, Languages, Arts and Social Sciences
- Faculty of Social, Economic Sciences and Management
- Faculty of Sciences and Techniques.
Research activities are organized within the Institute of the Environment and the Doctoral school which is a part of it.
The University campuses also house a University Institute of Technology, a School of Business Administration and four University Vocational institutes.
The students of this university which amounts to almost 4000 are offered with programmes in the following fields:
- Letters, Languages Arts and Humanities
- Law, Economics and management
- Science and Technology
- Physical Education and Sports
Facilities
The students of this University Corse are provided with all the learning facilities and resources that are required by them. Like there are libraries, computer facilities, language labs for the convenience of the students. For the foreign students French courses are also offered.
