UPJV appeared as a public university in 1970 concentrating itself in a single campus. Today, the University has distributed itself in 6 different locations all over the city of Amiens, enrolling 21,000 students.
Presently, UPJV has 12 faculties and 6 Institutes, authorized to grant national diplomas in all disciplines and at all levels.
