The faculty of the Department of Social Sciences at UTM, comprising of lecturers has designed a curriculum of 1200 hours of lessons to be delivered over a span of 3years, including 35 weeks of professional training. The Units of Teaching (EU) organizes the lessons in semesters and constantly evaluates its outcomes. The attendance with the courses is compulsory.

IUP Sociology Applied offers the following Diplomas:
- Licence in the field of ‘Social sciences' (Sociology)
- Control in ‘Social sciences' domain (Sociology) with specialization in ‘Evaluation, Management of the Dialogue'
- Professional Master in the field of ‘Social Sciences' (Sociology) with specialization in ‘Evaluation, Management of the Dialogue'
The IUP licence aims in making students derive knowledge about the fundamentals of Sociology.
