Originatings a a part of the University of Auvergne Clermont-1 in 1991, the University Institute Professionnalisé ‘Management and Business management' enrolls about 1300 students from France and abroad. It is characterised by its professional and multi-disciplinary structures, where professionals take half the lessons.
As an important partner of the corporate network, IUP not only does interferes in employment and the formations through lectures ; it also enrolls the students in professional training course per year, that lasts from 6 weeks to 6 months or within the structured ground projects.
Courses provided:
- Master 2nd year with 2 professional specialities
- A Contract of Professionalisation or alternation (alternate training course of Master 2nd Year)
- Professional Licence with 4 specialities
- A Contract of Professionalisation or an alternation (alternate training course of Professional Licence)
The interaction of the IUP of Clermont-Ferrand east on an international level began with signing away several contracts with foreign universities as well as with the companies located in those countries.
The rapid professional inclusion of the graduates is the third and the most important fearure of IUP. Here, 80% of the students are employed within a month. After the completion of the training course, more than half of them are appointed by the company itself, where the training was held. 3 months is the maximum time limit after which almost 100% of the students are assured of employment.
