Founded in 1992 the Institute Professionnalisé of Lorient is a publicly-owned establishment in professional and cultural scientific matter. It is an university of full exercise in network, multi-field, of proximity and human, modern size by its culture and is the most recent French university. With 743 employees of which 391 teachers and teacher-researchers, the institute accommodates more than 7763 students and currently proposes 89 diplomas of the License to the Doctorate. Based on three sites Valves, Lorient and Pontivy, it currently has 88.187 m ² of built surfaces.
