Though its root traces back to 1229 the University took its definite form in the year 1971 in the town of Mirial.In 1984 it gets its current structures the three councils & the units of formation & research. Since 1984 its strength has increased from 14000 to 27000. The system of licence, master, & doctor as offered by the University gives more flexibility & opening to the students. The Diplomas are nationally guaranted & are recognized all over Europe .
The LICENCE includes letters languages & arts, social sciences of human, mathematics data processing and application.The MASTERS offers courses on letters arts & languages, social sciences and human, Sciences of Modélisationde,information and of the Systems.
The doctorates are offered on many subjects like English, visual arts , cinema, electronics, history, data processing, geography & installations etc.The University offers residential facilities for the students, apart from other facilities like plush cafeteria, hygiene environment ,contribution to students projects, health & social protection & special consideration for disabled candidates.
