Formation and History

Its oldest mission and most traditional, which always occupies a paramount place in the exempted lesson, is to ensure the training of the future teachers of all levels in collaboration with the IUFM of Lyon and the higher Teacher training school Lettres and Social sciences of Lyon (professors of the schools, professors of the colleges and colleges or professors of the higher education). These teachers will have in their turn the task to initiate and improve pupils and students with the languages and foreign cultures, because it is as and perhaps especially by the knowledge of the values of the other as a true communication is established.

Common Service Documentation SCD OF Lyon co ordinates the libraries of the University and sets in the network of their sourses. Within the framework of their formation certain students have the obligation to carry out a training course in aa company to obtain their obligation.
