ISFOGEP was established in 1975 at Limoges with an active initiative of CRCI.Since 1979, the institute set up the special postgraduate programme in Human Resource Management which developed a strong relationship with the ESSEC group.ESSEC became an official partner of ISFOGEP in 1994.Since ESSEC and ISFOGEP are official partners, so students can reap benefits from ESSEC's specialist skills in the field of Human Resources.
The ESSEC library houses around 50,000 books and several electronic journals. There are computers with numerous points of access to the network and internet. The ESSEC library caters to the educational, personal and professional needs of the students of the institute.
Limoges offers numerous accommodation facilities, either in university residences or in various other locations in the city. The accommodation services range from traditional bed-sit to an apartment. The institute also publishes a list of available accommodation at the beginning of each academic season. The rents of the accommodations are very reasonable and are well furnished.
