The IUFM of the academy of Amiens was created in 1991 within the framework of the law of orientation on education. It is placed under the authority of the Minister for National Education, Research and the Higher education, it is directed by a Director, is assisted by a Secretary General and several Director-assistants. The IUFM is managed by the Council D `Administration assisted by the Scientific and Teaching Council.
Modules of Formation in the Institute: they are divided into PE1, PE2, PLC1 AND PLC2. There are some obligatory modules which the students study in three or four cycles and others are optional modules.

7. Philosophy of secularity and teaching of the religious fact

12. Dies in Ground and Life Sciences etc
The Institute also gives scope for continuous education to students.
The Institute has different clubs and societies on the campus for discussions and interactions. The Library is known to have a huge collection of books, databases, journals and periodicals to0 help the students immensely. The Resource Centre also helps the students in their academic careers and research work.
