Established in 1875, the Université Catholique de l'Ouest (UCO) caters to the needs of students from different levels and offers a full range of programs leading to French national diplomas and university specific programs. The UCO enrolls more than 9,000 students on three campuses (Angers, main campus, Vannes/Arradon and Guingamp). The university has 400 professors to teach the students.

UCO's Centre International d'Etudes Françaises (CIDEF) enables students
to master French language and culture. The medical centre, resource centre and the wellness centre help the students immensely.
Accommodation: Housing facilities are available both to the local students and also to the international students. The Resource Centre also helps the students for their academic career and research.
