The INSEEC Group takes its name from the school set up in Bordeaux in 1975 and then in Paris in 1983: a new form of business school with teaching methods inspired at once France's elite higher business schools and political science institutes and the concepts of personal balance developed at that time in psychology and the social sciences.
The INSEEC Group is one of France's leading private educational organizations fully accredited by the French government.
The INSEEC Group offers Undergraduate and Graduate Studies in Business, Management and Communication in the schools located in Paris, Bordeaux and Lyon.
The different institutes operating under INSEEC in Bordeaux are:
- INSEEC, Institut des Hautes Etudes Economiques et Commerciales (also called « INSEEC Grande Ecole »)
- INSEEC, MSc & EMBA Department
- ECE (European School of Business)
The programs offered by the School are:
- Administration/ Management
- International Business
- Public relations/Advertising
- Health
A research centre, the “FIR” (Fonds INSEEC pour la Recherche) is responsible for the journal Management & Avenir, a series of publications in business administration and the organisation of conferences with French universities.
At present, research activities are organised around two main issues: emerging countries and entrepreneurial anthropology.
The highly international teaching methods of the INSEEC, ECE and
MBA Institute require constant expansion of the Group's network of foreign university partners. After an initial collaboration with 5 American universities (including Berkeley, UCLA and the University of Texas-Austin), it now has 73 partnerships worldwide and 31 double- diploma agreements (MBA and MSc).
