Located in the south of France on the borders of the Mediterranean Sea, the Centre Universite de Formation et de Recherché de Nimes is a public university by nature and follows a multi-disciplinary approach in the curriculum.
The programs are coordinated in such a manner that they are integrated into European higher education programs offering innovative training courses which is unique in France like:

These high-quality market oriented programs help the students to prepare themselves for their future. The campus comprises of five faculties and they are:

- Law and Economics
- Letter and Languages
- Psychology
- Sciences
The degrees that are offered by the University are national diplomas and institution specific degrees.
Research is being conducted in two different sites:
1. Carmes Laboratory-it is a modern site which started in 1998 and welcomes scientist from all over the world. The research projects that are conducted on this site are related to Bio-Engineering Sector.
2. GIS Laboratory
The University also organizes European Community Erasmus University Charter for student exchange programs and the University also works in close collaboration with different industrial and economic sectors.
Residences: The students stay on the campus in residences specially built for them and the residences are meant for both local and international students.
