Although established in 1910, the university changed its name several times before it took the name University of Regina and now it is famous for its 9 faculties with 25 departments with reputations for innovative programs and different degrees like the Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral programs.
The university has three federated colleges and they are Campion College, Luther College and the First Nations University of Canada.
The affiliated institutions are: Canadian Theological Seminary, Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research Student Exchange Programs etc
