Selkirk college's roots can be traced to 1964 &1965. Established in 1966 Selkirk College was the first public community college in the BC Post-Secondary Education System. The college has many campuses in BC. The campuses are at Castlegar, Grand Forks, Kootenay, Nelson (silver King), and at Nelson (Tenth street).
