Lakeland College Alberta is a government public college operating under the authority of the Post Secondary Learning Act of Alberta. It has two campuses; one is located at Llyodminster and the other at Vermilion.
In the fall of 1913 the college opened as the Vermillion School of Agriculture and later came to be known as the Lakeland College. It offers certificate, diploma, applied degrees and baccalaureate degrees. Diversity is the strength of this university so in keeping with the growing trends many new courses are offered:
