Murdoch, the second University of western Australia ,established in 1973 and allows students to obtain the privilege of its various education programs from 1975,is located in 14 km away from Perth. The several courses of this university offer undergraduate programs on various subjects like law,arts,information technology, engineering, veterinary studies, and post graduate programs on pharmacy,education,mass communication and commerce. Murdoch grants several scholarships to local and international students according to the merit list.
The Murdoch University main library on the campus is situated near the south end of Bush Court. There is also a veterinary and biomedical sciences library, near the south east of the main library.
