A University for techies-to-be, Curtin University of Technology has its main campus situated in Bentley in the neighborhood of Town Victoria Park, Western Australia. It owes its name to the former Australian Prime Minister, John Curtin.

Curtin offers different types of scholarships according to the program that one is enrolling for. For example, different categories of scholarships are offered for undergraduate programs, another different set for postgraduate programs and so on.
About the Bentley Campus
- Curtin University possesses a state-of-the-art library equipped with the latest computer technology that makes searching for information easy and interesting.
- Once you are in Curtin's Computer labs, you will be reminded of ‘Business at the Speed of Thought', a book penned by Bill Gates. There are computer labs galore in Curtin's Bentley Campus. Each is colossal and operates on 22nd century technology, figuratively speaking. There are the Abacus Labs, the Computing
Labs, the Mathematics Lab, the CBS Labs and the Engineering Labs. If you think of any strategy for any project that you are working on, put it into action through Curtin's computer labs. However, not all labs can be used by you. Some departmental labs are restricted to those belonging to that department only.

- If you're a glutton, don't feel embarrassed! Cuisine at the Bentley Campus is such as to transform a diet freak into a glutton. Mouth-watering dishes which are both indigenous as well as totally foreign as the Indian curry and kebabs are served in the food outlets on the Campus. So eat while you study or vice versa!
- The Curtin Student Guild is the representative body for the students at Curtin University. Apart from being a representative body for students, it carries out many other functions such as running the food outlets, planning University events, publishing the University magazine, et al. Post graduate students have a separate guild known as the Curtin Student Guild Postgraduate Student Association.
- There is enough scope to socialize and cultivate one's hobbies and talents through the various clubs at the University campus. Antics, Beer Appreciation Club (BAC), CEC are only some of the many Clubs at the University Campus.
- If you need to use the public transport, Transperth provides several bus services to and from Bentley. If you have your private automobile, you'll just have to squeeze it in the parking lot as finding a parking space is difficult on the Campus despite there being many parking lots available.
- On-campus security is available for faculty and students of the University, 24 hours a day. More funds have been allocated to improve the security system. Transport is provided to enable evening and late night drops.
Curtin also as its campuses in Perth, Sydney and other parts of Australia. It also has its presence in Sarawak, Malaysia.
