Australasian College for Emergency Medicine after various modifications finally was established in the year of 1981 in Carlton, Victoria, Australia. The premier aim of the Institute is to arrange effective training and test programs for the medical specialists in the field of Emergency medicine.
The several Course programs offered by the college are:
- MOPS [Maintenance of Professional Standards Program]
- Training Programs [General and Advanced]
- MOPS[ for non-fellows]
Overseas Trained Specialists can also avail the privilege of these programs.
The MOPS programs are conducted basically to elevate the professional attitude and the efficiency of the Fellow members. ACEM arranges a number of seminars and meetings for the upgradation of the specialists.
This institute offers several entrance exams for the candidates who are interested in Fellowship.
