The area does not only spread the medical aid through highly developed clinics and well organized communities, in fact, they work in many diverse forms, such as small clinics, camp facilities, jail trips, aboriginal and native lands visits, roadside set ups and tele or e- services.
Besides more critical medical aids like surgeries, treatments and diagnosis, these services also work on suggestions and advisory levels, to the patients. The practitioners who achieve great heights in serving the community under, the specific standards of the area, are awarded with many fellowships and prizes.
Accreditation of the College:
ACRRM has been accredited by AMC, Australian Medical Council, which assesses all the training and experimental programs in the medical area. The accreditation earned in 2007 was partial and only made the college a member of the AMC unit, but with complete accreditation in 2011, it has become an active participant in the research and development in rural medicine.
