The
Christian Conference of Asia is a regional ecumenical organization that represents 16 National Councils and over 100 churches in New Zealand, Australia, Bangladesh, Burma, Cambodia, East Timor, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Laos, Nepal, Japan, Korea, Malaysia,Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Thailand.
The
Christian Conference of Asia was constituted by a decision of churches, national councils of churches and national Christian councils with their representatives meeting at Prapat, Indonesia, in March 1957. It was inaugurated at an assembly at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In 1973 Assembly, meeting in Singapore, it was the named as Christian Conference of Asia (CCA). Christian Conference of Asia exists as an organ or forum to extend co-operation among the churches and national Christian bodies.

Functions of
Christian Conference of Asia are:
- To promote and strengthen the unity of the all the churches in Asia
- To encourage the contribution of Asia to Christian thought, worship and action.
- To enable development of mutual awareness, fraternity and sharing among the churches in the region.
- To develope effective Christian response to the challenges of the changing societies of Asia.
- To develope and promote relationships with people of other communities or religion in Asia.
- To protect human dignity and the promote caring for the creation.
