Steven Paul Jobs or Steve Jobs as he is commonly known is one of the top IT people in the world and the co-founder and CEO of Apple . His innovative ideas regarding personal computers led him into the revolutionizing world of computer hardware and software.
Born in 1955 at San Francisco, Steve within a week was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs of Mountain View, California. His initial education was completed at the Cupertino Middle School and Homestead High School in Cupertino. His natural inclination towards computers leads him to attend the after school lectures at the Hewlett-Packard Company. Soon he was hired by the company as a summer employee and there he worked with Steve Wozniak. After completion of graduation in 1972, Steve joined the Reed College in Portland.
At Atari Steve Jobs started working as a technician and started manufacturing video games. Later he was given the task of creating circuit boards for games. By the age of 21, Steve had convinced his fiend Wozniak to start their very own company and formed the Apple Computer Co . by April 1, 1976. In their joint venture Steve Jobs and Wozniak started assembling personal computers and thus entered the huge world of computer business. A series of Apple computers were introduced in the market. With a successful IPO in 1980, Apple Computer became a publicly traded corporation.
In 1986 Steve Jobs bought The Graphics Group, the computer graphics division of the Lucasfilm. The new company which was named Pixar joined Disney to produce some of the very famous animated feature films.
