Arthur C Clark

Arthur C Clark , one of the Top IT People , is a British inventor, is considered to be one of the best science fiction authors of the world. He had an uncanny interest in the paranormal and even wrote books on it. He is considered to the one of the “Big Three” along with Robert A. Heinlein and Isaac Asimov.

There are three laws of prediction that was formulated by Arthur C Clark, they are:

  • The opinion of an elderly scientist has a very strong scientific base and so when he thinks that something is possible, there are all probabilities that he might be right.
  • To find out the limits of what is possible it is important to step beyond the possible into the world of impossible
  • Magic exists also in the form of advanced technology in science.

Arthur C Clark was born in the Somerset in England and right from the very beginning he was keen about science fictions and paranormals. One of the most important achievements of his life is that he served as the radar specialist in the Second World War.



Post year wars of his life were spent most in serving the British Interplanetary Society. His most important contribution to the world of science and technology is an idea that he put forward. It was that the geostationary satellites are perfect for telecommunications relays.

Apart from being the author of a number of science fiction books, Arthur C Clark also wrote a lot about space flights and rockets and their social importance. One of them is “The Exploration of Space” in year 1951 and “The Promise of Space” in the year 1968.
