International Business Machines Corporation or IBM is an international IT company which is reputed as one of the Top Computer Manufacturing Companies. This multinational information technology company of IBM has its presence felt in computer technology and consulting.

The main headquarter of IBM is situated at Armonk in the New York city of USA. IBM has emerged as a global company and presently deals with various businesses like manufacturing and selling of computers, software, hardware, infrastructure services, hosting and consulting services. IBM has set its benchmark in sectors pertaining from mainframe to nanotechnology.

IBM is one of the reputed computer companies and is even recognized as the largest technology employer. IBM is the largest computer company with its offices spread to almost 170 countries. IBM stands out be the Top 20 Semiconductor Sales Leaders in the world for its chip development.

Lenevo came up with the PC division in IBM in May 1, 2005 while Ricoh acquired the printing division of IBM on January 25, 2007 by paying almost $725 million. The logo of the IBM has been designed by Paul Rand which comprises of horizontal stripes which was of late changed to the solid letter logo. The horizontal stripes in IBM denote “Speed and dynamism”.
