Cyber Laws

Cyber Laws are matters of legal consideration that are related to the ‘cyberspace' or the ‘internet, as it is better known. Cyber Laws are a crucial feature about the Internet today.

Introduction :

Though Cyber laws mainly refer to legal issues happening in the internet, it can also be laws pertaining to any other forms of communication technology. Among all the various divisions of law, Cyber law is one of the most complex types. This is mainly because it does not relate to anything distinct.

Jurisdiction of Cyber Laws :

The most subtle thin rope about the internet is that it almost always transcends the issue of jurisdiction. Moreover, the kind of property that is generally trespassed in the internet is more of the intellectual kind.

Though geographical borders are not considered in the scope of Cyber Laws, still the users remain in political domains that can be tangibly divided. So to execute such legal proceedings, three steps are taken into account. They are:

• The national law of the user
• The state law of the user
• The national and state law of the target or business destination
