In 1963, merging with American Institute of Electrical Engineers or AIEE and Institute of Radio Engineers or IRE, the IEEE was formed. The organization worked towards the advancement of application and theory of the electrotechnology and allied sciences. It supports the needs and requirements of all the members by conducting various programs and serving as a channel for technological innovation.
