The American Animation Institute
The American Animation Institute was formed by the Animation Guild and Affiliated Optical Electronic and Graphic Arts, Local 839 IATSE in 1980. The institute work towards improving the art of animation through theoretical studies, practical classes, and other activities in America.

The American Animation Institute offers excellent classrooms and well equipped labs. There are two lecture rooms, a fully-equipped studio classroom, where the art classes are held, and an animation work room. The animation work room features every facility for viewing and photographing pencil tests along with a light board. To get registered in the American Animation Institute you need to be a high school graduate and have acquired 18 years of age.
