Toyota Matrix

Toyota Matrix is a small compact station wagon with a sporty style and a vehicle with extreme practicality. Toyota Matrix is manufactured by the Japanese automaker Toyota since 2003. The Toyota Matrix lineup has three trim levels: base, XR and XRS. The exterior of Toyota Matrix is well structured with an aerodynamic shape. The car also comes in various metallic shades. The door handles are black to make them prominent. Other external features of the car are: multi-reflector halogen headlamps, daytime running lights, integrated front fog lamps, powered outer mirrors, wind-shield wipers with mist cycle, rear window wiper, all-weather guard package, rear underbody spoilers and power slide moon roofs with sunshade. The steel alloy wheels add a dash to the car.

The interior designing of Toyota Matrix is as impressive as its exterior. The front seats are 4-way adjustable with folding facility. The rear seats are split and can be folded to create space for cargo. The driver’s seat has a vertical height adjuster. The seats are made of fabric and the front door is trimmed with armrests and dual front pockets. The steering wheel is a 3-spoke wheel with tilting facilities. Other internal features in the car consist of: day/night rear view mirror, rear cargo track system, cargo nets, defroster -linked CFC-free air conditioning with air filter, FM radio, 6-disc in-dash CD changer with six speakers, footrest and cup holders.

Safety features in Toyota Matrix are adequate. The safety equipments installed in the car are: cruise control, power door locks, rear window defogger, airbags, seat belts, brake system, tire pressure monitoring system, warning lights and ABS.





Two 1.8 L engines are offered in Toyota Matrix: the economical 1ZZ-FE produces 130 hp, and the performance-oriented 2ZZ-GE produces 164 hp.
