Subaru Forester

Subaru Forester is an adventurous crossover SUV with dynamic looks and equivalently rocking performance. Subaru Forester is produced by the Japanese automaker Subaru. The car was launched in 1998 and was based on the structure of Subaru Impreza. In 2007, the car expanded its model to five varieties – 2.5X, 2.5XL.L. Bean edition, Sports 2.5X, 2.5 XT Limited and Sports 2.5XT. Subaru Forester boasts of a dynamic exterior. The car comes in vibrant metallic colors and gives an adventurous look to the car. The built of the car is solid and rough. In 2006, the car’s exterior was given a more upscale look. The front of the car is relatively spread than the back. The front headlamps are well designed and are provided with high reflecting lenses for optimum emission of light. The rear view mirrors provide excellent rear view in favor of the driver. The door handles in the car are made of the same color as the body. The wide alloy wheels provide excellent on-road grip. Among other features are a large electric sunroof, four electric-powered windows and strong xenon headlamps.

The interior décor of Subaru Forester is as attractive as its exterior texture. The cabin of the car is classy and has drawn public accolades. The seats in the car are comfortable. The front passengers enjoy quite spacious leg and headroom. There are no lumbar adjustments in the passenger seats. The rear seats are split and can be folded to make storage and cargo space. The steering wheel moves up and down but there is limited seat height adjustment for the driver. Luggage accommodation is good in the car. Among other internal features in the car are: easy entry and exit as the cabin is large, large windows, thin roof pillars, climate control system, remote central locking and satellite navigation. Optional features that can be installed in the car on request are: satellite radio, heated front seats, seven speaker audio system, a 6-disc in-dash CD changer and MP3/WMA player.





All the models of Subaru Forester have adequate safety equipments installed in the car. There are anti-lock brakes, stability controls, active head restraints in the front seats, remote central locking, front and side airbags, deadlocks, rear child safety door-locks, ABS with electronic brake-force distribution and alarm.

There are two power sources in Subaru Forester. One is a 56bhp 2.0 litre engine and the other a turbocharged 2.5 litre 208bhp locomotive. The rate of acceleration is amazing for both the engines.
