The exterior of Suzuki Jimny is simple yet sophisticated to look at. The car comes in basic metallic colors. The car has a flat hard roof. The two variations available in Suzuki Jimny are JX and JLX. The JLX is a fully optional luxury version. The external features include electronically adjustable exterior mirrors, power windows, and electric front windows to give clear visibility, door mirrors, and front fog lamps and alloy wheels.
The interior of Suzuki Jimny is not as smart as its exterior. The cabin is somewhat choked up. Front seats are comfortable and occupants can have ample space to sit comfortably, but the rear seats are small and there is almost no place for the rear passengers. However, the rear seats are split and can be folded to create storage space. The leg and shoulder room in the car are restricted. The steering wheel in the car is fixed and cannot be tilted or raked. Though the driver’s seat has no adjustments, but the driving position is excellent. The other internal features in the car are: simple dashboard with necessary information displayed, easy controls and switches, central locking and a CD player. Air conditioner is optional and can be installed on request of the customer.
The standard safety and security features installed in Suzuki Jimny are: an engine immobilizer, steering lock, central lock, anti-lock brakes, driver and passenger airbags, ABS brakes and side impact protection beams.
The engine of Suzuki Jimny is the same as its predecessor, a 1.3 L 16-valve four-cylinder electronically fuel injected engine. The pick-up of the car is rather slow. The car picks up from 0-62mph in 14.1 seconds.
Suzuki Jimny is an economical car, quite affordable in the price range £9,980 - £10,499.
