Introduction Volkswagen Polo is a ‘supermini-sized car’ which is available in different sporting styles. Its manufacturer is Volkswagen of Germany. This car generally provides four airbags, ABS, strong door side protection, and rear head restraints. The Polo initially came with transversely mounted engine and front wheel drive. However, a variety of three and four cylinder diesel and petrol engines are included in the current models.

Current car also features either five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. All models are equipped with a fully independent Macpherson strut front suspension, and a Twist-beam rear suspension. Disc brakes at the front and rear drum brakes are used by most of the models. Round disc brakes are fitted in some of the new models. This is an economical car which gives more mileage at low cost. For example, Volkswagen Polo (1.4 diesel) can cover 60.1 miles per gallon whereas Volkswagen Polo 1.4 SE (petrol) covers 43.5 miles per Gallon.
