Introduction A supermini of the Volkswagen Group, the Skoda Fabia is the first model to use the A04 Platform of the Volkswagen Group. Presently, it shares this platform with the Volkswagen Polo Mk IV and SEAT Ibiza. The predecessor of the Skoda Fabia is the Skoda Felicia. The Skoda Fabia was launched in 2000. History : The first generation Skoda Fabia range starts with a 1.2 6v Classic to a 1.9 PD TDi vRS in 2000. The Skoda Fabia was remodeled in 2005, with a change in the front fog lights and grille, different rear lights, new steering wheel and revised levels of specifications. In 2006, the Skoda Fabia range was displayed in the Geneva Motor Show. The second generation Skoda Fabia is about to appear in the Geneva Auto Show in March 2007.
