It was with the vision of Andre Citroen that this new genre of economic subcompact adventure cars with stylish interiors started and became immensely popular among the urban crowd. Although introduced in September 2003, this dynamic 3 door supermini, known for the highly qualified equipments and extremely modern engines has successfully captured the markets in Europe. In 2004 more than 150,000 units were sold. The new rear lights have added a lot of advantage for the drivers. The new de cor with a mixture of leather and fabric makes the car more stylish and comfortable. These additions were also made in Citroen C3. The cars come in three types and they can use petrol, diesel and Hdi. The gearbox is manually operated and the height of the car is 1,461mm. The other dimensions are 3,66m and 1,65m. The car comes in 12 different colors.

Types of Citroen C2:
Both the VTR and VTS versions are known for their sporty image.C2 VTS is the sportiest model of the range and boasts of a 1.6i 16V 125 bhp engine, black seats, leather steering wheel and aluminum foot pedals. The upholstery is in fabric with a 3D mesh for the C2 VTR versions. The range of colours is varied and the cars are available in amber, blue and green shades.
C2 Stop and Start System:
The C2 Stop & Start combines two advanced technologies and they are the Senso Drive automated gearbox and an electronically controlled reversible alternator. The engine which stops in the signal in a traffic will be automatically reactivated and will move again.
