Audi A3 is a compact and less space consuming car which has great demand in the European and American Market due to its adaptability and flexibility. This is a Small Family Car which was introduced in Europe in 1996. Audi A3 was manufactured by Audi, the German manufacturer. The original Audi A3 car which was the first model to be introduced used the PQ34 or "A4" platform. Being an Audi creation, Audi A3 was the second model, after the A4 which used five valves per cylinder. The Type 8P, the second-generation of the A3, was designed by Walter de'Silva and launched by Audi in 2003. This was followed by the introduction of a new five-door body, dubbed Sport back, in June 2004. In 2005, for the first time the A3 Sport back became available in the North American market. The year 2007, witnessed the replacement of 2.0 FSI by a new turbocharged 1.8 TFSI engine, with 160 PS (118 kW). | |

Audi A3 has Inline four-cylinder spark-ignition engine with FSI Direct Injection technology, exhaust turbocharger with intercooler, four valves per cylinder. The engine is managed electronically. It also consists of Dual-circuit brake system with diagonal split and Electromechanical steering with speed-dependent power assistance. This car is also very economical. The Unleaded Super, 95 RON is the recommended fuel type although 91 RON can also be used.
