Introduction
Based on the Ford Fiesta, the Ford Fusion is an advanced version of it. The car was first built in 2002 and since then it is being sold in Europe and India. The car’s design is an amalgamation of both estate and Multi-Purposes Vehicles.

The European Ford Fusion which is a prolonged adaptation of the Ford Fiesta super large was fashioned by Ford of Europe in 2002.Earlier Ford used the name "Fusion".

The strong, lightweight 1.4-litre Duratorq TDCi aluminum turbo diesel engine has new-generation common-rail injection knowledge. Its horsepower is of 68 PS and 160 Nm of torque.
The drive-by-wire common-rail diesel is engineered for drivability, thrift measure and new levels of diesel engine enhancement.

Duratec 16V, the double-overhead cam petrol engine with variants featured in the Ford Focus and the new Ford Fiesta, is offered in two configurations - an 80-PS 1.4-litre, and a 100-PS 1.6-litre variant. The aluminum manufacture of the Duratec 16V makes it one of the lightest, most compressed and proficient petrol engines
