Introduction Mazda, the Japanese automotive manufacturer, started the production of its MPV vehicle called Mazda MPV in 1989. The 1980s decade saw a great rise in the popularity of minivans or MPVs. Auto car companies like Toyota, Nissan and Mitsubishi started to launch their versions of minivans. When Mazda launched it Mazda MPV, the car became very popular in a short period of time.
