National Geographic started its journey as the National Geographic Society in the year 1888 formed by a group of explorers, teachers, geographers, military officers and financers. It was in 1997 that the National Geographic Channel came into existence broadcasted first in the Europe and Australia. Today it serves in more than 200 countries around the world. |
