Martini and Rossi

Martini and Rossi is an alcohol brands company that has its origin in Italy. Martini and Rossi has been manufacturing alcoholic beverages from the 1800s. In the first part of 1900s, Martini and Rossi had a bottling plant in Pessione. The particular terms Martini and Rossi has its source in the names of the director who functioned in 1800. They were named Alessandro Martini and Luigo Rossi. Both of them were responsible for the progress of Martini and Rossi and in 1863, the name of the company was changed to Martini Sola and Cia.

The Sola people sold away the company's interests to the other partners of the company in 1879. In less than 10 years, the offices of the new Martini and Rossi Company spread across the globe, from Geneva to Buenos Aires and Barcelona. This was possible because of the ambition and the hard work of the founders of Martini and Rossi. The company thus became the biggest wine exporter of Piedmont.
