A textbook is an instruction booklet or a standard book in any subject of study. International text books are written keeping in mind the international school, college and university syllabus. These text books are published according to the demand of the schools, colleges or universities. These text books are generally published by one of the four major publishing houses. These books mostly appear in printed format but some of them can be viewed online.
Previously the teachers used the international school text books as the only means of instruction. Later they became a major teaching tool for the students.
