Biology is the study of living organism, their forms, behaviors, interactions and other spheres of existence. It encompasses the study of botany, zoology, and medicine. But modern Biology text books also include microbiology or the study of microorganisms, molecular biology or the fundamental chemistry of living organisms, cellular biology that studies the cellular structure and types.
Some text books also hold the remaining aspect of the subject, i.e. the study of Physiology that encircles the internal body structure of organism; and the Ecology, the interdependency and interrelationships of different types of living beings.
The different spectrums are covered at each level of education. While plane biology text books are for secondary education, books of botany, zoology or microbiology are catered to needs and wants of specialized works – research or scholarly level.
Widely published books are readily available from retail shops or publication book stores like, McMillan, Oxford University Press or McGraw Hill, Cambridge, etc. However, higher level specialized books can also be accessed from national and international libraries.
