Feminist Novels are books which were written to throw light on women's issues in the society. Since ages women have been suppressed and tortured irrespective of caste or creed. Tyranny, Power and Success have always been related with men. Feminst writers have taken the plunge to pen down the degrading condition of women in society.
Feminist authors have not only pinpointed the women issues but have also sited examples of how women can fight back. The main motive of the feminist novels was to point out the indifferences of attitudes towards women.

Simone has put stress on the fact that the social status of women has been the same since the early times.
- Written on the Body by Jeanette Winterson This story talks about how men are not questioned if they are promiscuous but a woman is condemned if she spends a night with another man.
- The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter by Carson McCullers is a story of a girl and her thirst to see the world. The forgotten, mistreated and lonely girl wants to get her noticed.
