Major Airports in Taipei

Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport is located in Dayuan Township in Taoyuan County. It is among the four airports that receive international flights on a regular basis. It also experiences maximum traffic among its Taiwanese peers. It serves as a hub for EVA Air and China Airlines. The airport started to function from 1979 onwards and replaced Taipei Songshan Airport. It is an important entry point for mainland China and several other destinations in Asia. It was, till 2006, known as Chiang Kai-shek International Airport.

Taipei Songshan Airport can also be availed to get to Taipei in addition to the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
