Flights to Rostock are operated from the Rostock-Laage Airport which is one of the important regional airports in Germany. The longest flight that departs from the Rostock Airport covers a distance of two thousand three hundred and three miles while the shortest flight that flies out of the Rostock-Laage Airport cover a distance of two hundred and ninety four miles. The largest aircraft that flies out of Rostock is a 737, which can carry one hundred and eighty four people together. Every week almost ten flights depart from the Rostock-Laage Airport on various smaller aircrafts.
There are only two airlines that presently serve the Rostock-Laage Airport at Germany, namely, the Air Berlin airlines and the Ostfriesische Lufttransport airlines. These airlines offer both domestic as well as international fights to Rostock.

- The LT-Ostfriesische Lufttran airlines provide two daily Rostock flights to Munich from Rostock and one daily flight to Cologne from the city of Rostock. The carrying capacity of the aircrafts in the two cases are sixty-six and thirty-three, respectively. There is also a daily flight to Paderborn from Rostock, which carries one hundred and fifty people together.
