Uni Air is based in Taiwan. It was founded in 1998. It serves as the regional as well as domestic subsidiary of EVA Air. Until 1996 it was called Makung International Airlines. The majority share of this airline is taken by EVA Air. It merged with Taiwan Airways and great China Airlines in 1998. In domestic Taiwan market it has got the largest market share. The head quarter of this airline is located at Taoyuan, Taiwan.
