Sita Air is a domestic airline of Nepal that runs flights to various places lying within the borders of Nepal. Though established in 2000, Sita Air commenced operating from 2003. The airline is owned and controlled by Priti Rana and one of its aircrafts suffered from an accident in the year 2004. Sita Air combines reliability and efficiency and is one of the dependable domestic airlines of Nepal.
Sita Air runs a number of direct flights to the major towns and cities of Nepal. The destinations of Sita Air include Kathmandu, Dhangadi, Janakpur, Lukla, Pokhara, Surkhet, Bajhang, Jomsom, Simkot, Nepalgunj and Tumingtar. The fights to all these destinations are domestic and scheduled flights.
The fleet of Sita Air consists of three aircrafts of the German model Dornier 228-200. All these are modern airplanes with high quality engine, advanced designs and technology.
The airline offers several in-flight services. These services of Sita Air include free snacks and drinks, newspapers, magazines and special facilities for the old people, the sick and the handicapped. The airline also offers a few discounts.
