The S7 Airlines was established in 1992 in a city called Ob and is presently centered in air bases like Domodedovo International Airport in Moscow, the Irkutsk International Airport in Irkutsk and the Tolmachevo Airport in Novosibirsk. It is also called the Siberia Airlines. It has a subsidiary called the Aeroflot.
In the year 1994, the S7 Airlines joined the IATA and in the same year it became a joint stock company. It ventured into its first international route from Novosibirsk to Frankfurt in Germany. Although the airline was established to meet the growing domestic flight demands, it later on started offering international flights to China, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Germany,Turkey and United Arab Emirates.
