Lan Ecuador is a Quito based airline company. It mainly deals in passenger flights operating from its base and Guayaquil. At times it has to lease aircrafts from LAN airlines for the smooth functioning of its services.
The Mariscal Sucre International Airport acts as the hub of Lan Ecuador Airlines. It also has a secondary hub in the form of the Jose Joaquin de Olmedo International Airport at Guayaquil. The airline was established in mid 2002 and initiated its operations the following year.
LAN Ecuador destinations include places like Madrid, Buenos Aires, Miami, Santiago, New York and Lima.
The Lan Ecuador fleet has not yet been made since it does not have a registered aircraft. Its aircraft line up comprises of Boeing 767-300 and Airbus A320-200 which the company has acquired on lease from the parent company Lan Airlines.
