Established in 2000, Jordan Aviation was one of the charter service operators of the country based in Amman. Private ownership of Jordan Aviation did not hinder its acquiring of the Aircraft Operating Certificate given by Jordan Civil Aviation. Jordan Aviation is also a member of Arab Air Carriers Organization. Scheduled flight services started operating in 2005.
