Established in the year 1989, with the joint efforts of the Aer Lingus, Belton Air and Banco Santander, the Futura International Airways started operating in the year 1990 and ventured into its first flight from Palma de Mallorca to Manchester. Although the main base is in Son Sant Joan Airport in Palma de Mallorca, the flights are also provided from the four other main airbases in Tenerife, Málaga, Gran Canaria and Dublin.
The airways is owned by Corpfin Capital, Aer Lingus. The management and the employees have their respective shares in the establishment too. The two subordinate cargo fleet that is owned by the Futura International Airways are the Flyant and the Futura Gael.

Futura International Airways Fleet
Having a voluminous fleet size, comprising of 21 aircrafts, the Futura International Airways assures of regularity and punctuality. The Futura International Airways fleet is comprised of aircrafts like Boeing 737-300, Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-400. It is awaiting the delivery of the Boeing 737-900ER aircraft in the year 2008.
