Air One was established in 1983 in Pescara and it basks in the glory of being the first and foremost private Italian airline and offers both domestic and international flights. Air One shares a major business alliance with Lufthansa and code-share agreements with various airlines.

The current fleet of Air One is in excellent condition but the company wants to upgrade it by introducing newer and better aircrafts. It plans to own a fleet composed of 56 aircrafts, which would include Boeing 737s, 2 ATR 42s, 12 A320 Airbuses, 2 Avro 70s, 10 CRJ900s and 3 cargo aircrafts.
