Zoom Airlines History

Zoom Airlines was incorporated in May 2002. It was meant to provide flights in the Atlantic Ocean region. It was founded by Scottish brothers Hugh and John Boyle, who looked to tap into the market for leisure travel in Canada. The brothers had started off with Falcon Holidays in Scotland in 1980. This company operated in the holiday market.

On 28th August 2008 Zoom Airlines brought an end to its operations and opted to file for bankruptcy. The main reason behind this decision was its financial instability that was assuming bigger proportions with every passing day.
